Fuel and hydraulic tanks are large, flat aluminium surfaces, so oxidation, diesel stains and water marks show up badly. They’re also where a good polish makes the biggest visual difference on a truck.
How we do it
We clean and decontaminate the tank, then machine-cut and polish in sections to get an even finish with no hazy patches or swirl marks. Straps, steps and end caps get detailed by hand. A sealant goes on last to protect the surface from diesel spills and weather.
Our tank polishing is fully mobile. We come to your depot, yard or worksite anywhere across Western and South-Western Sydney, so the truck stays where it’s needed.

Fuel & Hydraulic Tank Polishing FAQs
Is it safe to polish a fuel tank on the truck?
Yes. Polishing is done on the outside surface with the tank in place, using products suited to aluminium. We take care around fill caps and fittings.
Can you polish chequer plate and toolboxes too?
Yes. Alloy chequer plate, toolboxes, steps and guards can all be added to a tank job.
My tanks are really bad. Can they still be saved?
In most cases, yes. Heavily oxidised tanks take more cutting stages, but they usually come up well. Send us photos and we'll give you an honest assessment.
